ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST PROMOTIONAL VIDEO
This was an old uni brief where we had to create promotional material for an assigned play. My assigned play was the Accidental Death of an Anarchist by Dario Fo.
I created a series of video games to make the material feel more lighthearted and tongue in cheek, to bring out the comedic aspect of the play. The video features a number of different references to the play, while also using imagery of police stereotypes, which fits with the concept of the play.
I chose to create a video so I could start to learn After Effects. This was the first time I used the software and picked it up fairly quickly to be able to create the video by the deadline. I haven't had an opportunity to use After Effects since, so need to refresh my memory and practice using it to be able to confidently work with it again.
The typeface in the opening of the video was also made by me. It is called Spill.
